The unlawful assembly which is considered by Police as an attempt to restart the the assembly terminated on Baghramyan avenue on the night of 22 to 23 June today continues on the Freedom Square of Yerevan.
The assembly organizers made an attempt to hold a procession.
Police are warning that in case of any violation of public order Police will act within the law and show reaction adequate to the situation.
We call on the assembly participants to abstain from any violation of law, including disobedience to police officers’ legitimate requirements.
We once more remind the assembly organizers that they bear personal responsibility for defending the assembly participants’ rights and safety.
We call on the organizers not to incite the citizens to clashes with police officers or artificially deteriorate the situation by resorting to emotional manipulations.
Let’s not forget that we are all citizens of the same country and are responsible not only for each others, but for the safety and future of our country as well.
