The Center's leadership briefly outlined the subdivision's functions, the history of its establishment and formation.
The service was established in Georgia in 2012. 112 phone number operates 24 hours. It has replaced the previously existing 3 phone numbers - the police, the ambulance and the fire service. Through this common emergency telephone number, it's much more efficient to get phone calls, manage them, and transfer information to addressees. It is also efficient for citizens who will not have to contact several phone numbers in case of emergency.
The details of the personnel policy of the service was also introduced to the Armenian delegation. Those who want to work in the Center are enrolled in compulsory professional courses.
On the same day, the RA Police delegation visited the police territorial subdivision.
During the meeting with the leadership of the subdivision, the two sides spoke about various services of the police territorial bodies in the two countries, discussed the efficiency thereof, the aspect of personnel training and other issues.
Members of the RA Police delegation got acquainted with working conditions and technical equipment. The prospects of practical exchange of experience were discussed to further develop and strengthen the traditional cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
