The final stage of the command-staff exercises on "The use of special composite detachment during operations to prevent and suppress mass riots" held on the territory of "Arzni" airport (VIDEO and PHOTOS)

On Saturday September 13, 2014, the final stage of the command-staff exercises on "The use of special composite detachment during operations to prevent and suppress mass riots" was held on the territory of "Arzni" airport. The Police Troops and officers from other territorial subdivisions were involved in the exercises which  had started on September 8, 2014.
Head of the RA Police, Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan, members of the RA Police Collegium and police top brass attended the command-staff exercises.
In compliance with the training scenario, the authorized rally ended in mass riots which were suppressed by police officers who restored the public order using special technical means and devices.
During the training the Police Chief personally estimated the Composite Detachment’s capacity to fulfil special tasks, familiarized himself with the available special equipment and spoke to the trainees. 
A group of servicemen from Police troops as well as officers from various police subdivisions were awarded for accurate and complete execution of tasks envisaged for them by the plan of the command-staff exercises on "The use of special composite detachment during operations to prevent and suppress mass riots".
After the training Vladimir Gasparyan answered journalists’ questions, touching upon the goals, tasks and results of the command-staff exercises.
