Three people fell as a result of Vardenis bridge collapse

On November 15 at 14:30 an alarm call was received at Vardenis police division, reporting that a bridge collapsed near the Vardenis railway station and a few people remained under the ruins.
The arrived operative group found out that on November 15, at about 14:00 on the 185-th km of Zhorzha-Vardenis highway the bridge fell while being repaired, as a result of which Nerses Martirosyan, born in 1957, Gagik Avetisyan, born in 1956, and Varuzhan Sargsyan, born in 1956, fell on the spot, and Argam Antonyan, born in 1966, Robert Hambardzumyan, born in 1955, and Karen Najaryan, born in 1972, were hospitalized with bodily injuries.
A criminal case is initiated under the part 2 of the article 157 of the RA Criminal code.
A preliminary investigation is underway.
