85-year-old woman dies in an apartment fire in Berdavan village
On Sunday March 23, at 4:30 p.m. Noyemberyan police division received a report on an apartment being burnt in Berdavan village, Tavush marz.
Arriving at the scene, members of police task force established that the fire had originated from a furnace in the bedroom of the 85-year-old landlady - Roza Muradyan. DOB 1929, who was found smothered to death by the smoke.
External examination of her body revealed no signs of violence on her body.
Forensic medical examination has been assigned.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
