Police detain Iranian citizen wanted for fraud in his Homeland

As a result of the operational search measures carried out by the criminal investigation staff of the “Zvartnots” airport Line divison of the RA Police as part of the Arsenal-2019 comprehensive preventive measure, passenger of the Yerevan-Istanbul flight, 36-year-old Majid Muhammad Hussein Habibi Araji was detained on April 25 at 6.15 am. The man had been wanted by Iranian law enforcement agencies on charges under Article 1 of the IRI Penal Code (fraud) since April 11.
