Assistance in re-equipping Police Operative Management Centers (VIDEO, PHOTOS)
On May 31, Deputy Chief of Police Hovhannes Kocharyan received World Bank representatives.
In his speech, Hovhannes Kocharyan noted that the technical tasks envisaged by the program activities to be implemented by the Police within the framework of the World Bank Public Sector Modernization Project have been adapted to international standards and submitted to the Government in the established order and terms.
It is worth reminding that within the framework of the project it is envisaged to re-equip the operational management centers of the Police Departments of Lori and Shirak Provinces and that of the City of Yerevan.
It was noted that the cost estimates for re-equipping operative management centers have already been implemented, the procurement process has been completed and the construction has been started.
At the same time, it was suggested, if possible, to assist in making changes in the already developed technical tasks.
The representatives of the World Bank assured that they will study the submitted proposals and will try to take measures for their joint implementation.
