Delegation of the Armenian Police headed by Police Chief Valery Osipyan pays an official visit to Georgia (VIDEO, PHOTOS)

The delegation of Police of the Republic of Armenia headed by Chief of Police Valery Osipyan is on an official visit to Georgia on December 17-19.
On December 18, Minister Giorgi Gakharia received the delegation of the Armenian Police in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The enlarged session of the representatives of the Armenian Police and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia followed the private conversation of the Heads of law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia attached importance to the Armenian delegation’s visit emphasizing that it is a great honor to withstand the modern challenges together with the Armenian counterparts for the sake of the security of the two countries and the safety of their citizens.
Giorgi Gakharia assured that the Georgian side is doing its best to make the cooperation more effective and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to further deepen and expand cooperation.
Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia Valery Osipyan expressed gratitude for the warm reception and highlighted the importance of the close partnership of especially the recent years and the results of the well-established cooperation. The Chief of the Police underlined that crime knows no borders, no nationalities, and the long and rich experience of the cooperation between our law enforcement agencies shows that only by joint efforts it is possible to counteract current challenges of crime, justifying the expectations that the society has from law enforcers.
At the joint meeting of the representatives of the law enforcement agencies of Armenia and Georgia, a wide range of issues of mutual interest and prospects for deepening of cooperation were also discussed.
