Murder in Yerevan: Police detect the murder suspect

On Saturday October 11 at 8:20 a.m. Kanaqer-Zeytun police  division received a report on a young man's body found dead on railway tracks in  Kanaqer.
Аrriving at the scene police operatives found a 25-30-year-old man's body in the vicinity of the military unit on Tsarav Aghbyuri street, Kanaqer. The external inspection of the body revealed traces of gunshot wounds to the temple.
Thanks to the operational search measures taken by police officers the victim was soon identified as Levon Buniatyan, DOB 1990.
Due to the operational search measures taken jointly by officers of the General Department of Criminal Intelligence alondside their colleagues from the Yerevan City Department, Ararat Marz Department and Kanaqer-Zeytun division of the RA Police it was established that on Saturday October 11 at 1 a.m. Taron Galustov, DOB 1991, shot Levon Buniatyan in the temple with an unidentified pistol inside an “Opel” taxi automobile belonging to Artur Ye., DOB 1986, at 105 P. Sevak street, Yerevan. Killing Buniatyan, Galustov made the the taxi driver transport the body to the abovementioned place threatening the driver with his pistol, took the body out of the car, threw it on the ground and made two more shots to Buniatyan's nape and came back by the same taxi.
On Sunday October 12 Taron Galustov was declared  wanted under the Republic of Armenia Criminal Code, article 104, part 1 and article 235, part 1.
On Sunday October 12 at 7:10p.m. Galustov turned himself in following explanatory and operational search measures taken by police officers.
Galustov was handed over to the Investigation Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
Taron Galustov is arrested.
Measures are underway to find the crime weapon pistol used to kill Levon Buniatyan.
