Statement

As of 5 p.m. December 6, Police have looked into 96 alarming reports received from media representatives, public organizations, trustees and observers following the course of the Constitutional Referendum in Armenia, 7 of which have been received through the telephone hotline, 2 from the police territorial units and 87 reports have been published on media websites.
Though those statements contain information which obviously does not correspond to the reality, Police have looked into each of those reports and measures are underway to prepare materials and take a decision about their further course.
Police are once again calling upon individuals and organizations, following the course of the Constitutional referendum in Armenia, to verify the accuracy of facts and assess the reliability of each data.
Should You detect any violation, please immediately visit your local police station or dial police hotline numbers, this surely will enable the Police to react to electoral offences more promptly.
