RA Police Delegation Visits Georgian Patrol Police (VIDEO, PHOTOS)

During the visit to Georgia, the delegation of the RA Police also visited the Police Patrol Department.
Officers of the Service welcomed the members of the Armenian delegation, expressed gratitude for their great interest in their service and willingly introduced the structure and tasks of the subdivision. The Police Patrol Department has been operating in Georgia since 2004 and is the number one responsible for ensuring public order.
Patrol police officers also prevent and disclose crimes. In Georgia it is known not as punishing service, but as a unit providing services.
Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia Valery Osipyan and members of the delegation walked around the Police Patrol Department, got acquainted with the conditions, technical equipment, patrol service cars and etc.
Since a 24-hour mobile patrol service is to be established in Yerevan in the near future, the members of the Armenian delegation inquired about the positive and negative aspects of the service, discussed technical and other issues.
