Armenian and Georgian law enforcement officials meet in Lori province

On Thursday, March 15 Armenian and Georgian law enforcement officials met in Lori province. The Armenian side was represented by Deputy Chief of the General Department on Combating Organized Crime and Heads of Police Provincial Departments of Police of the Republic of Armenia, the Georgian side was represented by Heads of Regional Departments of Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues related to deepening interaction between the two law enforcement bodies, joining efforts in the fight against crime, taking joint measures to counteract a number of offenses and challenges. 
Arrangements were made to periodically hold practical meetings and ensure rapid exchange of information for the benefit of the two countries' security.
