Driver arrested after committing a fatal hit-and-run accident
On Monday March 17 at 8:30 p.m. an unidentified driver fled the scene after hitting juvenile pedestrians Vaghinak Tadevosyan, DOB 2000, and Lavrent Petrosyan, DOB 2001, on the 3rd km of Yerevan-Ashtarak highway.
V. Tadevosyan deceased on the spot and L. Petrosyan was hospitalized with bodily inujuries following the crash.
50-year-old «GAZ-24» driver pleaded guilty after being detained at 9 Yeritasardakan street, Qasakh village on Tuesday March 18 at 1:30 a.m.
The driver is arrested.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
