From July 16 new instruments, controlling vehicle speed and fixing traffic rule violations, will be exploited on highways of the Republic of Armenia

The Traffic Police informs that works on placing speedometers controlling vehicle speed and fixing traffic rule violations on highways of interstate and Republican importance are underway.
Particularly, from July 16, 2013, speedometers which have recently been placed on the following sections will be exploited:
1. 35-th km of «M-5 Yerevan-Armavir-border of The Republic of Turkey» highway of interstate importance (Metsamor town administrative area), (in both direction), where the maximum allowed traffic speed on this road section is 90 km/h;
2. 46.7-th km of «M-5 Yerevan-Armavir-border of The Republic of Turkey» highway of interstate importance (Sardarapat village administrative area), (in both direction), where the maximum allowed traffic speed on this road section is 60 km/h;
3. 5-th km of «R-5 Armavir-Argavand-Margara» highway of republican importance (Haykavan village administrative area), (in both direction), where the maximum allowed traffic speed on this road section is 60 km/h.
The Traffic Police once more calls on the drivers to keep the Traffic rules.
