Meeting in Police of the Republic of Armenia

On September 12 Deputy of RA police chief, Police Major General Artur Osikyan received experts of the Polish Border Guard led by Director of the Board for Foreigners of the Border Guards Headquarters Andzhey Yakubashek.
Mister Osikyan gave an outline of the RA legislation regulating the passport and visa sphere, he also introduced the current legislation amendments and the role of the police in handling the mentioned problems. The parties also touched upon issues of migration and biometric passports. It was noted that Armenia has applied a visa-free regime for citizens of the EU member-states since January of the current year. Head of the delegation Andzhey Yakubashek expressed his gratitude to the participants of the meeting for providing exhaustive information and holding an instructive discussion, stating that on the whole the entire process of handling the discussed issues in which Armenian police solves sufficient number of problems thus playing a quite important role was properly clarified.
