Police Chief receives the delegation led by Georgia's Minister of Corrections, Probation and Legal Assistance

On Friday, July 1 Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan met with Kakha Kakhishvili, Georgia's Minister of Corrections, Probation and Legal Assistance, and officials accompanying him.
Welcoming the guests, Vladimir Gasparyan highlighted the importance of the partnership between the Armenian and Georgian law enforcement structures and noted that it is sure to be mutually conducive in the context of improving the effectiveness of law enforcement.
Kakha Kakhishvili expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome extended to them and assured of Georgia's readiness to reinforce the existing cooperation, to share experience and best practice.
Vladimir Gasparyan touched upon ongoing and upcoming projects related to the reformation of the Armenian Police system, and Kakha Kakhishvili defined the major functions of the structure headed by him and outlined the cooperation framework that will prove mutually beneficial. 
The meeting agenda also included other issues of mutual interest.
