Shoot-out and murder in Arinj village

On Monday October 13 at 8:05 p.m. Kotayk police division received a report on a shoot-out in Arinj village.
Shortly after arriving at the scene police operatives managed to establish that about 7:30 p.m. on the same day «BMW 530» driver Levon Avetisyan, DOB 1959, and his wife Nune A., DOB 1963, who was also in the car, were hospitalized after suffering bullet wounds when unidentified assailants shot bullets at their car.  L. Avetisyan died from gunshot wound in his head and his wife was diagnosed with «gunshot wound to the left half of the chest.
One 5.45 mm cartridge and eleven 5.45 mm calibre empty cartridge cases were found by crime scene investigators which were all sent to an expert examination.
Тhe circumstances are being looked into.
The filed materials were submitted to Abovyan Investigation division.
