RECEPTION IN POLICE OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

RECEPTION IN POLICE OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

On August 14 RA police chief Vladimir Gasparyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania to Armenia Erikas Petrikas.
Greeting the guest, Vladimir Gasparyan mentioned that efforts must actively be made to deepen the partnership and broaden the cooperation between the law enforcement structures of the two countries.
Expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome, Mr Erikas Petrikas noted that the interaction in the mentioned sphere has become traditional not only for Armenian and Lithuanian law enforcers, but for other nations as well, and this is unconditionally a real guarantee for further broadening of the cooperation.
Vladimir Gasparyan represented the current stage of the reforms effecting the police system, attaching a great importance to the  assistance of foreign law enforcement structures, partly those of Lithuanian, to the Armenian police system modernization process. The police chief highlighted the necessity of exchange of experience, mutual visits, mutual acquaintance with own achievements and their application.
A number of issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
