On Tuesday, June 30 Head of the Police Headquarters, Police Major General Aram Zaqaryan received Legal Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Georgia Mrs. Kathy Caning and Assistant Attaché Mrs. Marlene Benson.
Welcoming the guests Mr. Zakaryan highly assessed the well-established cooperation between the Armenian Police and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation and expressed hope that the partnership will further develop and strengthen.
In her turn, Mrs. Kаtհy Caning expressed her gratitude for prompt response to their suggestion of cooperation and demonstrated goodwill.
The current stage of National DNA database establishment was presented during the meeting.
Relevant experts are expected to visit Armenian Police in the nearest future to hold more professional discussions.
The meeting agenda also included other issues of mutual interest.
