Arman Sargsyan receives international expert Ekaterina Zguladze and Director of the US Embassy's Drug Abuse and Law Enforcement Cooperation Program Michael Schulman / VIDEO, PHOTOS /

On Thursday, December 30, Acting Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia Arman Sargsyan received international expert Ekaterina Zguladze, U.S. Embassy's Drug Enforcement and Law Enforcement Cooperation Program Director Michael Schulman.
Welcoming the guests, Arman Sargsyan noted that this was not the first meeting with international expert Ekaterina Zguladze and expressed hope that this one would also be effective.
The Acting Head of Police thanked U.S. Embassy's Drug Enforcement and Law Enforcement Cooperation Program Director Michael Schulman for long-term cooperation.
Ekaterina Zguladze thanked the police authorities for the warm reception and asked questions about the reforms of the law enforcement agency.
Arman Sargsyan presented his views on the topic and the actions of the Police, and the acting Head of Police mentioned that the Police leadership is ready for effective cooperation in order to implement reforms, thanks to which Armenia will have more trained police.
Other issues related to police reform and issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
